Family sessions
Slow down, spend a while focusing on what really matters.
We'll meet at a beautiful location, usually in the hour or so before sunset so the light is golden and warm. I will gently guide you all along so you never have to worry about where you should stand or what you should be doing. These sessions are relaxed and fun, full of chatter, prompts and activities so you can be yourselves and enjoy spending time together creating beautiful family memories.
Session options:
A deposit of $200 is payable at the time of booking for all sessions. The final balance is due before gallery delivery.
Deluxe Session
The Deluxe session runs for approx one hour and allows us to take our time, easing into comfortable play and natural connections. With time to explore our location you receive a beautiful variety of images in your gallery that will capture the essence of your family right now through detail shots and those precious in between moments.

A Deluxe session is ideal for preserving as a memory book that serves as a tangible keepsake from your session that you and your family will treasure more every year. A beautifully printed, hard cover memory book can be ordered from the online print store after gallery delivery.
Essentials Session
An Essentials Session runs for a shorter time of 30 minutes and is perfect for a simple family photo update at an easily accessible location or at your home. Suitable for immediate family only.

What time do sessions take place?
I prefer to start family sessions in the last hour or so before sunset. The last of the golden light from the day is very flattering and adds a touch of magic to your photos! This time varies from around 7.00 pm in the summer months and is as early as 3.30 pm in the winter months.
What happens in bad weather?
I don’t mind shooting when it is overcast and cloudy, we can even work through a sun shower, but if heavy rain or strong wind is predicted we will need to reschedule. I check the forecast regularly in the lead up to you session and let you know by 12pm on the day if we need to reschedule.
How do I receive my photos?
When your photos are ready I will email you a link to your secure online gallery where you can view the final images from your session.
If you booked a Deluxe Session this is your final gallery where you can download your images and purchase printed products from the online print store.
If you booked an Essential Session the first gallery your receive will be a proof gallery of watermarked images where you will select your favourite 15. I will then send through your final gallery where you can download your images and make any print purchases.
All images will also be provide to you on a USB stick in high resolution and web friendly versions.
How long until I receive my photos?
Generally you will receive a link to your gallery two weeks after our session date. This may be longer during busy periods. The balance of the session fee must also be paid in full before gallery link is sent out.
What if my kids won't sit still for photos?
I completely understand toddlers and energetic kids don't like to sit still for long and that's ok!
My sessions incorporate activities and prompts that capture kid's attention and spark their imagination allowing me to capture natural, joy-filled moments. My goal is to capture the unique essence of your family and create lasting memories. So even if your kids won't sit still, I adapt my approach to capture their unique personalities and document your family's love and togetherness. Some of my favourite photos are candid and unplanned moments that have been completely child led.
Do you offer prints?
Yes! I offer a curated range of printed products through an association with a professional printing lab. Prints can be ordered online through your final gallery. I offer a 10% discount for all orders over $100 and free shipping for orders over $50.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes. A $200 deposit is payable in full upfront but a payment plan for the balance is available and simple to set up. Please let me know after booking if you would like to take advantage of a payment plan. Your final images will be delivered once the balance is paid in full.
