These sessions are baby led which means there's no pressure for your baby to be asleep and no unnatural posing. An in home session is a blend of documentary and lightly posed images that help capture all the feelings and precious details of this new chapter.

What time do sessions take place?
I like to schedule Newborn sessions around 10am when the indoor light is softer. Babies and older children are also generally happier in the mornings and our session is usually done by lunchtime.
How old should my baby be for a newborn session?
Typically newborn photos are taken when your baby is 10 to 14 days old. This is because they are still tiny and new and generally still in that early sleepy phase. However the beauty of lifestyle newborn photography means I can take baby photos for you at any time. If you missed that newborn window that's ok, it’s about capturing the love and connection between you and your baby here and now.
How do I receive my photos?
You will receive a link in your inbox to your personal online proof gallery where you can view the watermarked final images from your session. Through the gallery you will select which package you would like to purchase. Shortly after payment is made you can download web sized versions of your photos from your gallery and the high resolution versions will be provided to you on a USB stick.
How long until I receive my photos?
Generally you will receive a link to your proof gallery 2 weeks after our session date. This may be longer during busy periods.
Do I need to clean my house?
I've had three children myself and remember what life is like in those early newborn days! Please don't clean your house before I get there. I will generally take photos in the living area, master bedroom and baby's room. I can easily tidy and declutter the areas we use when I get there.
What if my baby doesn't sleep?
No problem, my style of newborn photography is completely baby led. It doesn't matter if baby doesn't feel like sleeping, I won't be posing your baby in any unnatural positions that require them to be asleep. We will capture amazing images of this special time regardless.
Do you offer prints?
Yes! I offer a curated range of printed products through an association with a professional printing lab. Prints can be ordered online through your final gallery when you have purchased your final package.
Can you explain more about the Maternity Add On?
This additional session is designed to document the later stages of pregnancy in a beautiful and meaningful way at home. It can involve partners and other children or pets and aims to capture that feeling of anticipation and the preparations being made for your new baby.
If you choose this option, the newborn session fee plus the maternity add on amount is due up front at the time of booking.
You will receive web sized versions of your maternity photos two weeks after your session, the high resolution versions will be provided on a USB stick with your newborn photos. If you choose the Memory Book package for your newborn photos your maternity photos will also be added to the album to help tell the full story of this amazing time.
When you book your session choose a date on the calendar for your newborn session and I will be in contact with you to organise your maternity session separately.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes. The session fee is payable in full upfront but your chosen collection is able to be paid off via an agreed payment plan. This is usually three payments made a fortnight apart. You will receive your images and products from your final collection when the balance has been settled in full.
