When is the best time to book a maternity session?
Generally maternity sessions are scheduled for anywhere between 30 to 35 weeks when you are showing nicely but before you start to feel too uncomfortable.
What time of day will the session be?
Being an in home session we can be flexible! I really do love the soft light at around mid morning for beautiful window shots. This time generally works well if you have other children too and then we're all done by lunch time.
Is there a benefit to booking both a Maternity and Newborn session?
Yes! If you book both sessions you will receive $50 off the combined session fee and 20% off your choice of Newborn photo collection.
Your Newborn photos will be added to the same gallery as your final maternity images.
If you choose the Memory Book Collection after your Newborn session we can also include some maternity images which is a really nice way to tell your complete story.
How should I prepare for my session?
I have lots of advice and tips and will guide you through every step of the way. After you book I will send you my Welcome Guide which is full of great information about what to expect on the day, how to prepare and advice on what to wear. I will also give you a phone call and we can chat about the details and answer any questions you may have.
How long until I receive my photos?
Generally you will receive a link to your proof gallery 2 weeks after our session date. This may be longer during busy periods.
How do I receive my photos?
You will receive a link in your inbox to your personal online proof gallery where you can view the watermarked final images from your session. Through the gallery you will select which package you would like to purchase. Shortly after payment is made you can download web sized versions of your photos from your gallery and the high resolution versions will be provided to you on a USB stick.
Do you offer prints?
Yes! I offer a curated range of printed products through an association with a professional printing lab. Prints can be ordered online through your final gallery when you have purchased your final collection.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes. The session fee is payable in full upfront but your chosen collection is able to be paid off via an agreed payment plan. This is usually three payments made a fortnight apart. You will receive your images and products from your final collection when the balance has been settled in full.
